Learning Outcomes - CBSE Class 8 Maths Syllabus 2025-26

  • Mastery in rational number and operation: Students will learn to work confidently with rational numbers, including positive and negative values, and apply joints, subtractions, multiplications and rules of division to mathematical contexts of real life.
  • Growing of algebra and manifestations: The learners will build the flow in algebraic manifestations, identity and linear equations in a variable, develop the ability to solve equations and model the ability to model everyday conditions.
  • Effects: Through the chapters on the exponential, squares, cubes, square roots and cube routes, students will understand number patterns and use these concepts to efficiently solve high level numerical problems.
  • Geometry, symmetry and practical construction: The course strengthens the understanding of 2D and 3D shapes, angle properties and greetings. The learners will also make practical construction using geometric equipment, increasing their spatial arguments and views.
  • Real life measurement and mendacity: Students will apply the formula to find the perimeter, surface area, and the quantity of various shapes and solids, solving problems based on real world needs such as building, packaging and design.
  • Effectively handling and representing data: The learners will collect, systematically and interpret data through bar graphs, pie charts and linear graphs, which will help them to make an understanding of information in daily life and educational projects.
  • Percit: Students will detect profit and loss, exemption, tax, simple and compound interest, and apply this knowledge to real life money transactions and logical comparisons.
